KAI Square shines with Audience Profiling at SingTel i.luminate event – Powered by NCS

6 Nov 2012 - KAI Square, together with NCS, brought in new Audience Profiling technology to the SingTel i.luminate event, held on 6th Nov 2012 at the Resort World Sentosa Convention Centre.

This technology uses video analytics tools to perform people counting, detect audience gender and emotive response using unique facial feature points, and track crowd density distribution. The data is used to control the audience profiling light box circuitry, and display advertising media specific to the target audience.
 
It allows advertisers to identify area traffic flow and demographics patterns, measure advertising effectiveness, and to perform highly targeted advertisements for outdoor media such as digital signage displays.

The November/December 2012 issue of Amplify IT by NCS was released during the event. In the issue, our CEO, Dr Neo Shi Yong, predicted that the market for analytics software alone will be worth hundreds of millions of dollars within the next two to three years. <Read it here>
